Ilulissat, Greenland

Ilulissat, formerly Jacobshaven, is a town in western Greenland, located approximately 220 miles north of the Arctic Circle. It is the third largest city in Greenland. Ilulissat is the word for "Icebergs". The nearby Icefjord has made Ilulissat the most popular tourist destination in Greenland. Here are pictures taken from the plane, the hotel room view, and the town and harbor.
