Bar-le-Duc

My father was stationed in Bar-le-Duc during WWII. It is a 90-minute train ride from Reims. Bar-le-Duc is divided into the lower town, containing the more modern part, and the upper town, reached by various narrow streets and steep staircases, where much of the historical interest is found. Whale Watching in the Arctic Ocean

Went whale watching in the Arctic Ocean, but didn't see any whales. It was interesting to sail through the icebergs and the scenery was beautiful. Knud Rasmussen's Museum is dedicated to the famous Danish explorer. The former residence of the colony Manager, designed of the famous architect Helge B. Møller and erected in 1923, houses the Art Museum.
