This weekend in Reims (pronounced Rance) was "Les fêtes johanniques de Reims", an annual medieval festival celebrating Joan of Arc. There were also hundreds of motorcyclists in the square.
Saint Petersburg is Russia's second largest city after Moscow, and an important Russian port on the Baltic Sea. It was founded by Tsar Peter the Great on May 27, 1703. In 1914, the name was changed from Saint Petersburg to Petrograd , in 1924 to Leningrad , and in 1991 back to Saint Petersburg. In 1713-1728 and 1732-1918, Saint Petersburg was the capital of imperial Russia.
Went whale watching in the Arctic Ocean, but didn't see any whales. It was interesting to sail through the icebergs and the scenery was beautiful. Knud Rasmussen's Museum is dedicated to the famous Danish explorer. The former residence of the colony Manager, designed of the famous architect Helge B. Møller and erected in 1923, houses the Art Museum.
