Reims, France

We are in Reims, France for two weeks before traveling to Iceland, Greenland, and Scandinavia.  Reims is a city in northeastern France's Grand Est region. It's the unofficial capital of the Champagne wine-growing region. For more than 1,000 years French kings were crowned at its Cathédrale Notre-Dame.  Most of the old houses in Reims were destroyed during World War I, and the city was extensively rebuilt in the 1920's in an Art Deco style.  The city centre is small and easily walkable, with many streets for pedestrians only.
